Ok Stan.
Must be the case for the 2400 then.
The PRAM battery's I've rebuilt in both of my 520's were Non Rechargeable
Lithium cells. This was Stamped on the battery itself "do not recharge"
Also two of the performa models I've owned have had Non Rechargeable
Alkaline. And (please forgive me list) the CMOS
battery in my think pad 560 is also the non rechargeable type.
So its obviously not the same in all models.
