Has anyone tried something like the following? Powerbook 2400 with G3/240, MCE cardbus upgrade Medium to large internal HD (e.g. Travelstar) Carbus Firewire PC card Typical well-supported DV camera such as VX2000 or PD150 Final Cut Pro or iMovie I'm not looking to use a 2400 as a serious DV editing station, but as an extra machine for quick field capture and rough cutting it would be fine.
