So True, I remember when I used a Plus, you could flick the power
switch off and back on again and it would still be running ok, I think
that this was due to the large number of smoothing capacitors both in
the PSU and on the logic board.
To be sure of clearing the ram you had to ensure that you waited at
least 10 seconds before switching it back on.
