Hi. I just recently bought a Duo 280c. I like it so far, except for two things: 1. the batteries that came with it don't hold a charge through start-up, and 2. it just froze on me, and I'm not certain what to do. This latter is rather embarrassing... I'm used to freezes on Macs. On a desktop machine, I know the options. But I've never owned a notebook before. I had the Duo connected to its Etherdock, and it froze while I was trying to transfer something to it over the LAN. I tried the power button, I tried the familiar force quitting command, but nothing happened. I tried unplugging, but the battery apparently had enough juice for a few minutes... I plugged it back in. Finally I threw caution to the wind and hooked up an external keyboard. Tried the force-quit/restart commands on that... and a few moments later it finally shut down after I hit the power key on the Duo itself again. So, what did I do wrong, and what should I do in the future? Is there an online manual for the 280c? -- Timothy Virkkala ICQ #117025840 ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net!
