I KNOW but I'm hesitant to open it. I'm a novice with a 2400 and I don't
want to get into deeper doo-doo. In the past I have installed a pram into a
6100, worked with ram inside my G3, keyboard stuff, and other easier things
than a 2400.

It gets hyped as a tough machine to reassemble, and it works as perfectly
well on ac power.
