That is my understanding with my Lexar 128's and my Viking 128's, that they
would have to go back to the manufacturer to be used in my Nikons again once
I formatted them to my Mac. I use them all the time in my camera's and never
wanted to deal with the down time to have them re-formatted, so I never
tried it.
Let me know if that isn't the case.
