I mentioned it in another thread, but I'll go ahead and repost :) I have a
Duo2300c named Theresa, a 230 named Elisabeth, a 6500/225 named Rachel, and
an LC475 that is as yet unnamed. For some reason, I've yet to really want to
name my PCs, just doesn't feel the same.
I've been told that computers are traditionally female, much like ships,
which is why they're all female names. As to the method of naming, they're
all various friends. I also have an '83 Firebird named Cassie and an '86
Trans Am named Rebekah :) Yeah, I'm a multi-talented geek with cars and
computers :) I set up an Appletalk network in my car just for the heck of it
once, I occasionally have far too much free time :0
