Friends: Thank you for your many informative responses!
Earlier today, I asked: >>What is the best way to get audio out of a Duo 2300? I want to use >>the 2300 as a kitchen MP-3 player. And in response, at 9:27 PM -0500 10-31-2001, Tom & Lisa P, masquerading as "Mad Dog" wrote: >Duos dont have stereo out so I dont know how good it will sound. This suggests I might not be able to do what I wanted. Furthermore, at 7:38 PM -0800 10-31-2001, Randy, of "Randy & Cheyanne" fame wrote: >For stereo, you need a big dock with a Nubus stereo sound card. >I don't know of any other way. While I have a full-sized Dock, and could probably scare up a monitor, I think that setting the whole kit-and-kaboodle up in the kitchen would not be the effect I wanted. What I wanted was something small, cute and lightweight to sit unobtrusively on the counter-top. So I think I will have to abandon the Duo 2300 idea and move toward something in the traditional PowerBook family. Anyone want to trade a PowerBook model 1400 or 2400 for a used Duo 2300c? ;-) Best wishes, Clint -- Dr. Clinton C.
