Brian, a 2400/80MB/1.3HD or better with an Ethernet/Modem card and decent battery would be a great machine if you could find it between $200-300....which is doable on eBay with patience and timing. Actually a larger HD and lower RAM would be OK, since it's easier to upgrade the memory than the HD. Unless you're in a hurry I wouldn't be too discouraged... Now the gold standard is scoring a 2400/Interware G3 and other goodies for around $550 which a Duolister recently managed on eBay. I also posted a few FS listings to the List awhile back. They haven't sold and will be listed on the mac2400 For Sale page soon...now that I have access to the server again. Granted one is a totally maxed 2400 with an asking price of over $1000, while the other is more basic and might have some bargaining room. Just shop methodically... hang in there....
