You Ain't Never LIED!!! ;-)
That's what recently led me to go the opt of getting a mobile(?) external
power source to plug my AC adaptor in, when I need to Duo-On-The-Go.

Anyway, regarding your e-mail:

Correct me if I am wrong, but if Duo 210s don't have a completely different
setup that would draw power in different levels from batteries, then I know
that Duo 210s and later Duos used different batteries (types I, II and III).

Perhaps you are using a battery (Type I?) that a 210 can use but a later Duo
cannot??

(And as far as I am concerned, I am just happy that my Duo battery can simply
hold enough of a charge to keep my clock, date and prefs saved up to a day
w/o being plugged in! With my 280c turned off the entire time, of course!)
