I have 2 Type 3 batteries in fair shape. When I turn the display to one setting above being off, Appletalk off, and modem off I could get up to 2-3 hours of these 2 Type 3 batteries I have. There's a slight cosmetic blemish on one of them, the sliding door has an 1/2" long chip but the door can easily be replaced from a dead Type 2 or 3 battery. I've decided to sell them as lately I've been using my 280c just for wordprocessong in my bed and I haven't been using the portable feature at all. I'd rather these batteries go to someone that can use it than to let it waste away in my house.
Best offer by next Wednesday (Oct. 2) takes both. I'm in Michigan, USA BTW. I also have a Floppy Adapter for the Duo that doesn't seems to work well. It's been dropped so many time the case has snapped apart and when I use it, the Duo just gets to the grey screen. No pointer or happy Mac. This happens regardless of the floppy drive or ADB device. It's free if you want it as I have another that is working fine. This is only the adapter, no drive is included. I'll be going through my pile 'o spare parts for Duo and see what else needs to be cleasned out. I think I may have an Apple 14.4K and GV 19.2K modem (both has rj-11 port), a couple passthrough modem port for Duo Docks, and maybe a few plastic parts for the Duo case.
