No. Comes with Windows drivers, but you need no drivers on the Mac. Put your old hard drive in there and voila. >There is another company that make one that is $70.00. As you already noted, you need to know whether the case will work on a PowerBook without special drivers. 2. Will it run off the PC card slot's power? Not all external PC card drive cases do. Most seem to include an AC adapter "just in case" because notebook computers have so many different specs. You want to ask them if they've tested their case with a PowerBook of any kind and if so whether it needed the AC adapter to work. If you need to plug into an AC power source, then you're tethered. :-( BTW, on another topic, this crusading is all well and good, but can people please not quote back entire posts when replying? Pretty please? Especially don't quote the long footers! The Duolist digests are getting really tedious to page through. Sorry to bring up a listmom issue onlist. I know it's not my job even with the listmom away. It's just a personal request, I have no authority. :-) -- Allison ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) -- ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net!
