I just happen to have one of those Umax CLones Umax c500/200 it uses a 603ev 
cpu attached to a huge heat sink that runs hot even with the fan. I don't 
know if the 603ev is pin compatible with the 603e or not, but I am absolutly 
sure that cooling would be an issue. BTW, the c500 and the Apus 3000 are 
identical.
