Clearly I have included too much rambling in my last post as I mentioned that I already have one of those unwieldy gangly things. I believe my adjectives speak for themselves as to my opinion of the WAR OF THE WORLDS looking thing. The biggest problem with using one of those solutions with the Lombard on the other hand is that it has a USB bus and no ADB to plug such a monster into. The best solution, after years of carrying around all the extra parts and pieces I've needed for my Duo (though not necessarily the Duo's fault), have a switchable backlight built into the keyboard.
