Once again I have changed out the 1.3 MB drive for an IBM 4 GB hard drive
into my 2400, but the system does not show the drive available.
I am booting from a SCSI external hard drive with system 8.1. Disk First
Aid (latest version) and TechTools only show the external SCSI drive, but
does not recognize the internal IBM drive.

How can I initialize and format the drive if it is not recognized. Am I
missing a driver, or is there a utility other than the ones mentioned above
which will solve this problem.

I'm out of ideas here, so I'll consider any suggestions offered to get this
drive working in my powerbook...........
