Almost all the user reports on the Sonnet upgrade mention random crashes and freezes, even the positive ones. I tried a Sonnet upgrade for my TAM when they first came out and could not get it to work reliably. They have updated the software numerous times since I returned mine and some people use them without trouble on their TAMs. I am waiting for the Newer upgrade, even though it will not be supported initially on the TAM.
