Hello,

as a user of the 2400c powerbook, I am pretty pissed right now.
My motherboard gave up like so many others after 14 months of ordinary
use, which means no throwing around, fussing about with the internals of
the computer, etc.
I really don't like that a computer that costs around 2500$ only lasts
around one year.

Did anyone of my fellow 2400 users contact Apple about this issue ?
It seems that a lot of 2400c's give up currently, according to all the
post in the newsgroups.
Always the same symptoms: Steady green glow, no wakeup from sleep, no
start up anymore - dead motherboard.

Any suggestions ?
Maybe a letter to apple ?

Let me know what U think.

Greetings

H. Marseille.

P.S.: Anyone have a G3 upgrade card for the 2400 to sell ?
