Well, maybe we should start a club. Same symptoms except I never saw the
sleep light. Basically it either froze or wouldn't restart using either
'three fingers' or the reset button. I'd usually hear a click in the lower
left corner, but nothing after that. I did notice that it stayed hot as if
the processor was powered up, just no HD startup or other action.

It went to MCE this week and I hope to know the damage tomorrow. Glad it's
within two years on mine..still within my Mastercard's extended
warranty....plus Arnie thinks my is CardBus enhanceable. Nice time for a
bigger HD I guess.

Hi Ralph. The symptoms you describe match mine exactly -- if I leave the power
in the thing gets warm even though it is not booting up.

I'd be very interested in hearing the MCE diagnosis of your problem, and how
much it will cost to fix. Also, if MCE says your cardbus is enhanceable, does
that mean they are doing the cardbus fix now? (I thought they were still
beta-testing it).

Also, I am curious about this reset business. I never was able to get my 2400c
to reset by any three-finger method. Which three fingers? No I mean which three
keys?
