I wonder if some you you can help out Ty. (Sorry for the redundancy. I
figure G4 & Duo/portable folks folks might have extra Mac parts and the CLIO
list is a much broader distribution than the Evangelist).

Evangelist,

I am a youth pastor in Iowa and diehard Mac user. A group of youth
Pastors in town was just donated 100 desktop Macs and 15 laptops. About
half of them are in good working order. Our goal is to refurbish them
and get them used in the community.

Our two main problems are parts and software. Where can we get our hands
on older power supplies, monitors, keyboards, etc? These can be used but
in good order Obviously our budgets are next to nothing since we all
work for churches. Also and probably a larger issue is where can we buy
older copies of software? These machines can't handle Office 98 or other
memory intensive software. We need to buy or get donated useful LEGAL
software that may be 3 to 5 years old. Things like Word, FileMaker,
Netscape, Eudora and others. Any ideas from the list members would be
much appreciated.

Blessings,

Ty Hogue
