That device is excellent! I got one for my mother as she had no phone 
jack in one room. Its like a cordless phone without a phone but instead a 
phone jack. You can get a second electrical adapter for the roaming unit 
as to never need to bring the handset back to the charger.

I was so impressed with this thing when I got it, I figured SOMEONE had 
to have a cordless phone on the market (900MHz preferred) that would be 
smart enough to include a phone jack on the handset as well as a phone. I 
had no luck though.

I think I paid $79 for the IBM thing through www.igo.com
