On the advice of someone on the list, I got the iBook 45 Watt adapter for 
$69, except that I got it from Outpost.com overnight with free shipping.

My issue with the iBook adapter is that it's big and bulky compared to the
Apple 36 Watt or 45 Watt adapters.  If I could do it over, I'd have gotten a
regular Powerbook adapter.
