It works but you have to get the TomeViewer to extract the AirPort Utility
off of the CD.  Then you must hardwire up the BaseStation to you Mac
(anyone) and then manually put in the settings.  Then it will fly.  

In all of its infinite loop marketing wisdom (and probably a ploy to sell
more Airport-Ready Macs), the installer will not run on any other mac than
an iMac DV/SE, G4 or iBook.

My BaseStation has been running fine on both a 2400 and 5300 and a 190.
I'm using the Lucent Silver Turbo cards.
