Hi Folks,
Thought I'd report on how I fixed my missing internal port connection on my
missing PPP control panel, in case anyone is interested. I tried the
suggestion of zapping my PRAM, I also checked the apple TIL on PPP and
apparently on an earlier version and with sys 7.5.x there was a bug which
could be remedied if on the express modem control panel you turned off the
'use internal model port' option at the bottom of the general - neither of
which worked. In the latter case I didn't even have the option on the
control panel. Finally conflict catcher told me that there was a problem
with the fax extension (also loaded as part of the express modem software),
et voila, the offending internal modem port came back into my PPP control
panel. Now I've got to figure out what specifically is wrong with the fax
software.

Any ideas?

Cheers,

Robin
