I used my DUo in SCSI disk mode the other night to install OS 8 & 8.1 on my Color CLassic. All went well. However, when I went to use my Duo again, it gave me the message that "this disk cannot be used to start this Macintosh. Update with the latest OS". I am at a loss, I had been running OS 8.6 on my Duo. I thought that I might have accidentally updated the drivers on the Duo with OS 8.1 when I was installing, but I then updated them to OS 8.6 drivers after starting it up on my Duo Dock's internal drive. What's going on here? BTW -- I also zapped the PRAM. Nothing changed and this happens before "extensions off" will work. ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net!
