The Yamaha SCSI-2 is the proper type - the IDE will not work. However check
MacFixIt site for problems with Yamaha drive and SCSI-1 or 2. Device is
SCSI-3 and should be backward compatable with SCSI-1 or 2 but has frimware
problem. Those using with Ultra SCSI bus seem pleased, those using on SCSI-1
or 2 bus like PB2400 have problems.
