Count me in.

I've been very happy with 8.6, which I run on an old PowerComputing
PowerCenter so heavily modified it's now the world's only Mackard Bell.
(Long story.)

But I'm running 8.1 on my 2300c, mostly because of its smaller memory
footprint. Even with VM on, on the Mackard Bell, 8.6 chews up over 21 MB.
Admittedly, I've got a ton of 3rd party extensions and control panels- and
that it's still stable despite all of this is one of the major reasons I
like it so much!

My $.02,

  -Nathan

And with 8.6 my Powermac 7100/66/G3 and my wife's PB1400/G3 never crashes
either.

I am afraid to upgrade to System 9 - and I used to be and upgrade freak,
browsing the Usenet for betas, if you get my drift...

Maybe we should establish "The 8.6 Society" for a select Mac users fond of
this particular incarnation of the Mac OS.
