Don't be afraid of it. The 2400 will only draw as much current as it
needs from the supply; it's the job of a power supply to provide the
current a device wants, not what the power supply thinks the device
wants. :) As long as the voltages and connector are the same
between the different adapters (and they are), there is no problem,
as the only difference is the highest current which can be drawn from
the supply. My 2400 has used a lot more juice from a 45-W adapter
than its own adapter during the time I've owned it, with no ill
effect.

This, on the other hand, is legitimate cause for complaint.

I don't think you should just accept it. They contracted to fix it,
they took your money, and they didn't do it right. You should hold
them accountable.
