This is pretty easy. Your AC adapter cord ripped apart inside. Make sure the line cord is still pushed tight into the AC adapter. Try wiggling the cords at either end and see if your PB2400 indicates AC. You can check the output of the AC adapter with a DC voltmeter if you're careful not to touch the outer ring. Or, just buy a new AC adapter from Sun Remarketing. Last time I checked, they were so cheap that every PB2400 owner should have at least 2 of them!
