you can count me in the Anti-Feet camp. you asked for my opinion, and now
you're gonna get it. =^)
I like to use my laptop in my lap (what a concept, huh?), so the feet are
pretty useless in that case. Out of sheer lazyness, I even use my laptop
in bed. Can anyone tell I'm a college student, yet? When I want to
connect to the internet in bed (don't ask), I HAVE to use the feet to get
at the modem...the little feet poke and annoy the crap out of me. grrr!
Since this chain of emails came out, I'm even considering removing these
little suckers. How?? I'm not sure yet...
About the backwards tilt:
On the rare occasions that I actually do sit at my desk, I find that wrist
pads actually help a lot (you know...the foam ones they give away all over
the place). I've actually stacked two of them on top of each other. I
realize that this probably makes me look like a dweeb, but the simulated
backwards tilt helps. Give it a try. Why don't they make keyboards this
way? Maybe cause it'll look weird.
OK. back to bed.
