The only problem is that the battery cases aren't designed to be opened. They
are glued together (as are the Micro Docks, like the Floppy Dock). I have
opened a Floppy Dock, but not a battery. It came apart fairly easily. So, this
is not a real problem particularly since the part of the battery you see gets
removed easily before you take the battery apart. The part that could be
aesthetically damaged will be hidden inside the case. You will need plastic
model kit glue to reassemble the battery, or perhaps you could construct some
kind of velcro system so that the battery can be easily taken apart in the
future.
