I upgraded from 7.6.1 to 8.1 on my 2300 to be able to support the @Home
Netscape browser. There are a few other features that make it a little
friendlier but not worth the trouble just for that. I haven't noticed
any speed reduction but it probably does use more memory. The best
upgrade I've made so far is to fill up the RAM (I now have 56K plus Ram
doubler).
