Thanks for all the advice. The general consensus was in favour of OS 8.1,
which I now have installed and It works great! It does not seem to slow
things up at all. Also I do find it alot more stable than 7.6.1 (but this
may be due to my installation skills being a bit suspect before) and the
increase in battery life is very impressive! From what I was told OS 8.6
might also be an option later (with even more battery benefits) but for now
I'd better do some work with my Duo, as opposed to working on the Duo
itself!
