Hi all,
I'm stuck. I'm trying to get my 2400c and iMac to talk
to each other by AppleTalk over ethernet. I turn on
AppleTalk and File Sharing on both machines. While
using a crossover Cat5 cable I use the Network
Broswers from the 2400 to open the iMac. So far so
good. I am able to log into the iMac. I am also able
to go though the folders. Here is the fun part. When I
try to down load, the 2400 hangs. I get the watch and
nothing else. The only way to get the 2400 unstuck is
by pushing the button on the back. I tried using a hub
instead of a crossover cable and the same results. I
tried going from the iMac to the 2400 and now I hang
both machines. I went to Farallons web page and
downloaded the newest drivers and still the hard
hanging. I tried switching from the lower PC card slot
to the upper slot. I have tried moving large and small
files. I have even tried calling my 2400 less than
glorious names, but still the hanging. Please help me.
