Sorry to ask such a basic question but I'm manual-less. Is there a
particular port (top or bottom) I'm supposed to put a modem card in the
2400. When I put it in the top port it won't boot past the splash screen.
After that, I'm a little cautious about trying the experiment with the
bottom port. Is is a 'bad thing' entirely to leave the modem card in? I'm
just using my Pretec 33.6 from my Newton, so it's not like I'm using cutting
edge technology. How I envy those of you with OS9 and AirPorts.

Thanks for all the suggestions about getting the 2400 to see my CD Rom. I
solved it when I found SCSI probe on a MacAddict CD from 99. There was a
reason to save them all, after all.
