Title: Hard drive question about 2300
I have a question regarding the Hard drive connection in a Duo 2300c. It, according to Apple can either use a SCSI or IDE hard drive. But are they separate connections? Or do they use different connections to the logic board?

The reason why I'm asking is I just recently replaced the logic board in my 280c with a 2300c. Well, when I connected the Hard drive to the new logic board, I couldn't start up the CPU. I only get the disk with a question mark. I've been able to start the CPU with and external Syquest Drive and the logic board appears okay. But I'm still having problems.

I guess i'm wondering if I connected the old SCSI hard drive to the incorrect connection meaning the IDE connection (if they are separate). Any help would be appreciated. . .
