I've just acquired a 2300 that functions perfectly in the dock but there is no life whatsoever in the screen. I have a second screen given to me that has been tested in another 2300 and has two flickering bands of grey - and a small area of dead pixels in one of them. Can anyone tell me what might cause the bands and offer a suggestion on what to look for with the non working unit? I'm hoping that between the two units I might be able to get one good one!
