I already said to take along an external hard drive, with the
software on it. Having not done that, send her the address book as an
attachment. Certainly the University will have accounts where the students
send and receive e-mail. If not, then contact a MUG there, or you can send
an inquiry to the Outback-Mac list at lowendmac.com, and get her some help.

What I find bizzare is ANYONE on a Mac list, expecially the Duo
list, talking about new computers when we don't have ANY new computers on
this list.
Send her a Duo with an internal modem, software, and a little RAM,
or get her to BUY a second hand one there for $100 or so. She can sell it
when she leaves, for close to what she paid.
I'm afraid this generation of youth is getting spoiled beyond
belief, if they aren't being taught about OLD Macs. New computers, indeed!
