A big thank you to all of you helping me with the duo-docking problem.
Yes, I did put up the door in the back. :-) and yes - the Duo is shut
off & the dock is plugged in, the suggestions did not offend me. I
should have mentioned (in more detail) what I had tried.
More information about this "ticking of death" sound is needed. Does it
sound like taping a playing card to your bicycle spokes? If so, this
dock has got it. Also, the lid is completely loose, I can remove it by
lifting up & off without pressing or removing any screws. And the eject
button is on the right side of the docking station.
Again, many thanks to all of you for your helpful suggestions - now I'm
off to check out the page Nick Lowe suggested.
