Well, I have had better luck with the Hitachi. I first had MCE
install an IBM 6.4G. It started whining after about a month. I sent
it back for a swap to the Hitachi. This drive is quieter (and faster)
than the IBM ever was. I have had it now for about 5 months. I can
hardly hear the drive at all!
