There is expected to be a G3 with upgrades - speed-boost, etc. in August
and a whole new powerbook next January (which could be G4 but may just be
faster G3). I'm betting on the january book, as Apple has been steadily
reducing weight in their 'profressional' portables, and I'm hoping for 5
lbs. in the next round. Sony's Vaio has been attracting a lot of the smart
souls who compare it to Apples. Should sys 10 run easily on Win/Dos
machines Apple is going to have to come up with some pretty striking
portable hardware next Jan.
