Yesterday, I turned on my 2300c in the Duo Dock and did a little Photoshop
work and then this clicking noise started in the dock near the fan. I
assumed it was the fan making some noise and ignored it for a while but
thought I should check it out, shut down and tried to remove the 2300c from
the dock. It wouldn't come out.

Then after a couple of restarts, where I could only use the power button on
the back of the dock because the keyboard wasn't turning on the computer, I
got a warning from a PRAM software that my clock was incorrect and my PRAM
battery might be dead. IF, after resetting the time and restarting, I got
the message again, it meant I am supposed to replace the PRAM battery.....but
I got no repeat of the message so I was clear there. Even so I used Tech
Tool for the PRAM reset.

The only way I could restart or shut down was to use the mouse and click on
the pull down menu. Eventually I was able to get the dock to release the
laptop but when I plugged in the AC adapter, NOTHING. This morning the dock
was still clicking and the laptop still will not start with the AC adapter,
so I put it back in the dock......it's stuck again. Needless to say, I'm
very worried here! HELP!
