"\s" is a meaningless control character. "\\s-" (or "\\s ") matches
spaces, tabs, and newlines (remember, the "\" character must be
escaped). I incorrectly used "\\s" earlier. "[[:blank:]]" is
definitely more clear, and does not match newlines -- it and other
character classes only work with Emacs 22, and not Emacs 21, but perhaps
this is not much of a concern, now that Emacs 22 has been released.
