Reading through the progress report, when I saw that you had
individual and community journal icons, I thought of something. Two
somethings.

One, you may want to identify sub accounts (of the ongoing master/sub
accounts) as such. (or, maybe you don't. I don't feel strongly either
way, although I do have a slight preference that different account
types are visibly different.)

Two, I really, really, really, really, really want that anyone who is
officially speaking for Dreamwidth be easily and officially
identified. Like, if you could create a staffer account with its own
separate icon, that would be the most awesome, but, failing that, an
icon that you used when making an official statement and a statement
on your userinfo that sometimes you were speaking officially plus a
link to a Dreamwidth site page with a current list of staff (so we
could see if someone had become disassociated but hadn't gotten around
to changing their userinfo yet.)

One of the things that made LJ crazier the past few years is that new
people came on and were staff (and you had to take their word for it,
if their first appearance was in comments, instead of by posting in an
official comm) or people left and weren't staff but you had to find
out through gossip or following their personal journal or some really
broken way involving close reading of official announcements or the LJ
Herald.

*I* know at this point that DW is Denise and Mark. But (a) I suspect
that there will be additional staffers at some point (I project your
growth will be just that amazing!) and (b) there will be people
joining the site after launch who won't know that, and need to know
how seriously to take this guy they've never heard of in comments.

That's some pretty low hanging fruit, I think, but it would improve
the site interaction over LJ about twelve trillion times.
