It's probably a good idea to start with the more recent suggestions,  
since those are the ones that are likely to apply most readily to the  
current situations. The Suggestions maintainer suggests that November  
'08 should be the latest month to mine, though, since there are some  
suggestions submitted in December that still haven't passed the  
moderation queue. I think someone in irc claimed November '08; when  
you pick a month, edit the Wiki page:

http://dreamwidth.cometheapocalypse.com/notes/From_LJ_Suggestions

to add the month that you're picking, your username, and your status,  
so as to avoid duplicating effort.

(So, if I were 'claiming' October '08, I'd put "October '08 - rahaeli  
- in progress" on the Wiki page.)
