In communities (granted, ones where the content is self-only or small-group-only and needs some organization), I've used it to organize posts (and as AzAxtra is mentioning, order fictional activities by date -- it may not reorder things on friends lists, but it *does* reorder them in the community if you are looking at the community itself); in a personal journal, I've done everything from organize posts to posting the text of my wedding ceremony on the actual date after returning from my honeymoon, or recap vacations on the days they actually occurred. There are, no doubt, a gazillion other good reasons for not eliminating backdating. Restructuring how it works? Great. Getting rid of it? Oh, God, please, no. --Helens _______________________________________________ dw-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.dwscoalition.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/dw-discuss
