Actually, and even if you don't let OpenID users post entries, there is a way this might be solved, when it becomes possible to link OpenID accounts and full native accounts. (Basically, this means for me to tell Dreamwidth, "I'm pauamma.dreamwidth.com, native account. I'm also pauamma.livejournal.com, check my identity now, I'll wait. OK, done? Good. >From now on, treat both accounts the same." This is, IIRC, a planned enhancement.) When this is available, and provided all posters to the original community have a full Dreamwidth account and linked it to their OpenID identity, then importing becomes possible, by replacing the LiveJournal original poster (which Dreamwidth would see as an OpenID account) by the Dreamwidth account linked to it. _______________________________________________ dw-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.dwscoalition.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/dw-discuss
