| It would not, because there is absolutely zilch in the way of "show
| me all my entries in this particular comm" functionality on LJ. I
| would have to go through the entire thing, find each entry by me and
| delete or flag it by hand.
Having had to do so myself when I was leaving a couple of communities after
some fundamental disagreements with how the maintainer was running things (same
person, different comms), I can empathize. I don't understand why/how an
individual poster's name can't essentially be treated as a tag for the purposes
of rounding up all of one's entries in a comm.
And you'll note I didn't suggest that *you*, as the original poster, would be
doing the legwork. That's why I mentioned a poll—if you answered that you
didn't want your stuff exported to DW, the *maintainer* would be responsible
for making sure it didn't happen—worst case scenario, by being able to use a
name-as-tag function on the DW end to pull up and delete all entries by people
who wanted to opt out. And with that function operational, if you ran across
one of your entries on DW, you could flag it and say that either just that post
or *all* your posts should be deleted.
Not an overnight process to gin up features like that in code, I'm sure, but I
can't imagine it's impossible.
