I have tried and it wasn't pretty. I forgot that when you install a program in the computer it does things to the registry. When I tried to access the program (some business software) on the flash drive it didn't work
I utlimately installed the program from the drive onto the computer and everything was OK. Then I uninstalled everything when I was done If you remember that (AND) remember to "uninstall" the flash drive when you remove it, it should work OK It does work great a a backup for data GL Steve On 13 Dec 2005 at 0:21, Tom Anderson wrote: Date sent: Tue, 13 Dec 2005 00:21:37 -0600 From: Tom Anderson <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: [DX-CHAT] Plug in drives To: DX-CHAT <dx-chat@njdxa.org> Send reply to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > Fellow DXers: > > Has anyone used any of those new 256 + meg or 1 GB+ USB plug in > microdrives for say logging or similar purposes?
