I have tried and it wasn't pretty.  I forgot that when you install a 
program in the computer it does things to the registry.  When I tried 
to access the program (some business software) on the flash drive it 
didn't work

I utlimately installed the program from the drive onto the computer 
and everything was OK.  Then I uninstalled everything when I was done

If you remember that (AND) remember to "uninstall" the flash drive 
when you remove it, it should work OK

It does work great a a backup for data
