Ham Com W5DXCC June 8-9, 2007 Dinner and program door prizes.

With the interest still extremely high in the recent BS7H Scarborough Reef DXpedition, the Lone Star DX Association is proud to announce that it will have three members of the DXpedition team at the W5DXCC programs and DX dinner at Ham Com June 8-9. See http://www.bs7h.com

"On the Rocks" operator K4UJ, Paul Pescitelli; N4XP, Tom Harrell, Director of the Off Island Support Team; and K5YY, San Hutson, team advisor will be present for a Saturday June 9 program on BS7H. In addition, Pescitelli will be recognized at the DX dinner Friday night.

Another major annoucement involving BS7H and the W5DXCC bash will be announced later.

Also, the LSDXA is announcing a special "DX Trifecta" of door prizes to be awarded during the DX dinner to separate lucky winners. The top grand-grand door prizes, each valued in excess of $500 will include a $725 Tennadyne gift certificate for the purchase of either a Tennadyne T8 log periodic or a Cubix quad antenna of the winner's chosing, an Alpha 4500 series SWR/PWR meter, and an Array Solutions/WX0B "Power Master" digital power meter.

Other DX dinner door prizes include a Comet/Diawa CN801 meter, a Bird model 43 meter, W2IHY technologies mike equalizer, a set of Heil headphones, a special Kenwood door prize, a Fluke 117/322 Electrician's clamp on ampmeter and digital multimeter kit, a Ten-Tec QRP rig kit, and a Buddipole gift certificate.

Also, there will be special YL/XYL dinner door prize drawings including a free night and breakfast at the Southfork Hotel.

All XYL and YL dinner tickets will be put into the major door prize drawings bucket after their door prizes are announced.

DX Dinner ticket ordering deadline is June 1. Order your DX dinner and Ham Com tickets now so you won't forget. There will be a limit of 225 tickets sold, so get yours early before they sell out as tickets did sell out last year. Such a bargain at even twice the price of the $36 dinner ticket price. For those of you with a little more continental appetities, the menu will include enchladas and baked chicken.
