Gosh, not another conspiracy theory!  Just how did you go about "becoming
convinced they have crashed several times in recent months."

 

And, even if you are correct, what difference does it make?

I am convinced they have crashed several times in recent months.
There's no way to know since they are secretive about what goes on up there.
It seems that when there is a large volume of uploads, they tend to fail
which probably means inadequate capacity and/or bugs.
